• Posi-seal MP Pipe Plug is easily installed, operated and removed from the pipe after use
• Smaller sizes are single tyred
• Central section of single tyred unit has patterned surface to ensure positive seal
• Circumferential high friction bands incorporated at each side of the sealing area prevent differential pressure from moving the plug
• Large diameter plugs feature the multi-tyre design – independent inflation systems
• Higher differential pressures may be effectively sealed and plugged using specially designed stoppers
• We recommend tyres are filled and pressurised using water or water/glycol mixture

• High pressure pipe plug is designed to withstand hydrostatic test pressures of up to 3250 PSI
• Size and pressure outside standard range to special order
• Pressurisation through centre hub
• Vent incorporated as standard feature
• End of hub section accepts male or female test connection
• Proven polyurethane posi-seal
• Recommended for hydrostatic test applications
• Self-energising after initial seal which is obtained by tightening wing nut
• Hardened steel vice ring with accurately formed gripper teeth
• Supplied in standard form with square headed blanking plug. Special coupling or pressure gauge may be supplied in lieu
• Hydraulically actuated version available

• The posi-seal high pressure pipe plug is based on the proven principle of expanding a hardened steel segmented vice ring on the internal pipe surface to hold the stopper in position at the same time expanding the polyurethane elastomeric posi-seal element on to the pipe wall
• Designed to an advanced concept in that the segmented vice ring is supported and expanded parallel to the axis of the pipe by two opposed taper faces, thereby increasing the effective contact area and the higher pressure capability
• Rugged steel components accurately machined to ensure easy operation
• Posi-seal element manufactured from polyurethane having especially good seal characteristics and low compression set. Low hyseresis seal ensures rapid pressurisation
• Easily installed simple to use
• No special spanners to use
• Many applications on pressure vessels, headers, process plant and pipeline systems
• Re-usable – cost effective after more than one application
