IFAT, the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials Management, returned to Messe München, Munich, Germany for 2024 – and the Hy-Ram team were delighted to be in attendance once again.
What is the IFAT Munich 2024 Exhibition?
The IFAT exhibition is a key date in the calendar for the utilities and infrastructure industry, as it’s the largest trade fair dedicated to the industry in the world. Hosted every two years since 1966, the 2024 exhibition took place between 13-17 May and provided an opportunity to showcase some of the best and most innovative water, sewage, waste and raw materials management products and services.
Sustainable solutions in the utilities industry
For Hy-Ram, this year’s industry focus topics centred around innovation, sustainability and continuous improvement. As many of our clients and distributors will know, creating market leading products in our segment has been a major focus for us and we were eager to dive into the conversations. 
With this in mind, we shared an exciting new environmentally-friendly site power product on our stand…
Those of you in attendance got a pre-launch, sneak peek at one of the UK’s first emission-free, fossil fuel-free, portable site power products – The PowerStation, suitable for use with electrofusion, butt fusion or even powering your kettle. As a key event for the utilities and infrastructure industry, we had the opportunity to be in the same room as some of our fantastic peers to hear about their product developments, service offerings and best practices.
And of course, to challenge them to a game of table football.
