As 2025 draws to a close, the Hy-Ram team has been reflecting on the past year. We’ve made some great advancements for both our customers and internal team. Our passion and dedication to delivering exceptional results in the global pipeline distribution sector has remained at the forefront of our operations.
To celebrate another fantastic year with Hy-Ram, we’d like to share our most incredible accomplishments from 2025. It’s all been made possible by our talented team and client collaboration to drive customer success.
We expanded and upgraded our product range
Since the beginning of the year, we’ve successfully designed, developed, and launched 14 brand new products. These include the PatchMaster Mono for accurate and efficient pipe scraping from 63mm to 315mm diameters, and the DrillMaster Branch 6 for precise under pressure drilling, compatible with 80mm & 100mm under pressure tees.
Our growing range also resulted in the sale of 2,238 different products throughout 2025.
Achieved our highest-ever volume of hire hours!
This year, we hit a massive milestone – 9,974,400 hours of equipment hire! That’s an incredible increase of over 2.4 million hours from last year. To put that figure into perspective:
- It equals 1,138 years. If you traveled back that far, you’d land in 887 AD – roughly the year the ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’ was introduced as a holiday!
- It’s enough time to grow over 100 generations of Norway Spruce Christmas trees from seeds
We also completed just over two thousand repairs across 190 types of equipment, continuing our commitment to our hire and repair services.
Went above and beyond for our customers across the world
In 2025, we hit another milestone of over 22,000 deliveries (up 4,000 from last year) containing in excess of 200,000 products, with our domestic pallets travelling the equivalent of 7.24 journeys around Earth!
Our deliveries were part of our continued mission to achieve worldwide customer satisfaction. From our headquarters in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, our products have travelled all around the globe!
We delivered effective solutions for the water and gas pipeline industries outside of the UK, with more than 33,000 items delivered to 63 countries. Internationally, we covered over 2 million shipping miles, which is the equivalent distance of travelling to the Moon and back three times! Some of our most notable goods were delivered to EMEA, the Asia-Pacific region, and Latin America.
We got involved and supported our charities
Throughout 2025, we’ve dedicated time to supporting and raising funds for many important charities and causes.
These funds will support ten different organisations, including our ‘Charities of the Year’ – The Brittle Bone Society, The Children’s Hospital Charity, and Down’s Syndrome Association.
Our passionate team participated in several fundraising events, including:
- Robin Hood Half Marathon, raising nearly £3,000 for the Down’s Syndrome Association and Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity
- Movember, raising over £300 towards men’s mental health awareness
- Macmillan Cancer Support’s Coffee Morning
- Breast Cancer Now’s ‘dress down’ in pink
We took part in some of the biggest industry exhibitions around the globe
Our team has travelled to many of the biggest exhibitions in our industry throughout the year, where we had the pleasure of making new connections, showcasing our equipment, and meeting many of our existing customers and peers.
We attended the EGYPS Gas & Petroleum Show in Egypt, AGA Gas Show in the US, EF Good Practice Presentation in Sweden, the K Show in Germany, APGA in Australia, and the No Dig Roadshow in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It’s been fantastic to travel to so many destinations, ticking off four continents along the way, and seeing our global impact!
Huge steps were taken towards a more sustainable Hy-Ram future
As part of our continued mission to reducing our environmental impact, we have:
- Planted 729 trees as part of our reforestation commitment
- Offset 304t of CO₂ emissions – 109.5 tonnes more than last year!
- Funded 80.3m2 of habitat restorations, including wildflowers, wetlands, wildlife, and seagrass restoration and research
- Reduced paper waste by digitising hundreds of our product manuals
- Installed water-saving tap inserts across our head office to reduce water consumption
Invested in our team
This year, we continued to develop our team, introducing eight new members across the business.
We also supported both new and existing team members through various comprehensive training schemes to upskill and advance their capabilities. Overall, we completed 57 hours of employee training, which would equate to listening to “All I Want for Christmas Is You” on repeat 851 times!
A key stand out was a training session by the team at Druck on their latest gas pressure measuring technology.
Passed our audits with flying colours
Throughout 2025, we’ve continued our commitment to quality assurance, health & safety, environment, sustainability, as well as wellness and our impact on the community.
This includes the recertification of our main ISO accreditations; 9001, 14001 and 45001, incorporating passing health and safety inspections and external audits, we’ve maintained our exceptionally high standards in manufacturing and delivering quality equipment, backed by robust expertise.
What’s coming next?
This year has been a great one, but 2026 is already set to be even bigger.
- 50 years of Hy-Ram: next year there’s plenty of celebrations to be had as we mark five decades of Hy-Ram! Keep an eye out across our website, LinkedIn, and blog to take part in our anniversary excitement.
- Exciting new products and developments: our product offering will continue to expand and evolve to meet the needs of our industry and customers.
- Further investment: as part of our growth and commitment to upholding our high standards, we will continue to invest in our services and internal team.
