As 2024 draws to a close, the team at Hy-Ram has been reflecting on the past year. We’ve remained dedicated to equipping our customers with exceptional pipeline distribution.
And there’s plenty more where that came from in the new year.
We’d like to showcase our 12 most remarkable accomplishments made possible by your collaboration and our talented team in 2024, as well as give you a sneak peek at what’s in store for Hy-Ram in 2025…
We launched 12 new products
Since the beginning of 2024, we’ve developed and launched 12 brand new products, including the PE Hi-Flow Drilling Saddles, with a completely new gasket system, designed to support the use of our popular under pressure tee on polyethylene water pipes, currently in 90mm, 125mm and 180mm applications.
…and upgraded our existing range!
Our aim is to bring the latest technological advancements to our customers, not only through new products, but by improving our most popular ranges too.
This year, we made continuous developments to our core offering, including butt fusion, PE pipe squeeze off, under pressure drilling, electrofusion tooling, as well as water valves and fittings.
We went above and beyond for customers in more than 60 countries around the world
From utility providers to pipeline maintenance contractors, we leveraged our expertise to deliver effective solutions for the water and gas industries in over 60 different countries – 7 more than 2023!
We’ve even been supporting the UK’s Fire & Rescue Services with new innovative tooling, to support efficiencies and further safe working practices, from one of the key emergency services.
In the process, we delivered 60+ training sessions

We provided a whopping 7,572,480 hire equipment hours
That’s equivalent to…
- Watching Home Alone 1, 2 and 3 1,397,745 times over
- 20,966,175 loops of the 12 Days of Christmas song
…And completed more than 18,000 deliveries
Ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction every step of the way.
Including some of our largest ever shipments!
This year, we broke records for our largest ever export shipment of large diameter squeeze tools, and the single largest shipment of our electrofusion ancillary tooling.
We had the pleasure of meeting our customers and peers at some of the biggest industry exhibitions
We spent a whole week exhibiting at IFAT Munich 2024, one of Europe’s largest trade fairs, with enquiries from more than 50 countries.
Here in the UK, the team was out and about showcasing our pipeline distribution equipment (and challenging anyone who dared face us at table football) at NGN Standdown Days, NWL Innovation Day, No-Dig Road Show Reading and No-Dig Live.
We got involved and gave back through charity work
In 2024, we proudly teamed up with several incredible charities, spreading support and raising funds for causes close to our hearts, including Reach UK, Brittle Bone Society, The Children’s Hospital Charity, Movember, Breast Cancer Now’s ‘Wear it Pink’, and Save The Children’s ‘Christmas Jumper Day’.
Our team grew!
We continued to invest in our most valuable asset: our people, welcoming 11 new members of the team this year. Each new arrival has already made a mark, and we can’t wait to see what we achieve together in the coming year.
We’ve taken strides towards a sustainable future
As part of our commitment to reducing environmental impact, we have:
- Planted 1268 trees to reduce our environmental impact
- Offset 194.5t of CO² since February 2024-December 2024
- Supported 4 environmental projects (2 solar, 1 wind turbine and 1 conservation)
- Donated approximately half a tonne of wooden pallets to a charity (Gardens of Giving) that repurpose it into garden planters and distribute to where needed
- Reduced paper waste by replacing all bathrooms with low energy hand dryers, rather than paper towels
- Reduced water wastage by investing in improved facilities
- Reduced power consumption by investing in improved low energy lighting technology in our buildings
We passed our audits with flying colours
We undergo continuous audits to ensure quality and safety across all our operations. From ISO 9001 to ISO 45001 & 14001, we’re dedicated to maintaining the highest standards.
Looking ahead to 2025
So, what’s next for Hy-Ram?
- Further investment: As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we’ve got plans to invest in many areas of our operations next year, including hire fleet.
